Milton, the seat of Santa Rosa County, is a progressive town and
vacation destination adjacent to the Blackwater River near the center
of Florida's western panhandle. It is served by State Highways 89 and
191, and US Highway 90 near I-10, and about 12 miles northeast of Gulf
Breeze and 17 miles north of Pensacola.
